Because I have a niece who is planning an escape wedding, also known as an “elopement,” I bought this book for her. Beautiful to look at, lovely formatting, and wonderful advice for those who want or need to avoid the usual hubbub. Money-saving tips are only part of it. The recommendations of unusual venues for the special day piqued my imagination. I also like the list of questions to ask vendors who will help make the day happen. Comprehensive and yet succinct, lovely volume, and worth every penny, even for those who are armchair escapees.
