I ordered this book before family pressure made me cave in an elopement. There were so many good tips that I also was able to incorporate into my more traditional wedding. I absolutely love the idea of a day after brunch. We made sure to do that after getting that idea! Genuinely recommend this book to people who want to elope or are even doing a traditional wedding.

You know, the title seems a bit misleading, or at least what I understand ELOPE to be is not what I found in this book. However, if you are planning a destination wedding, whether alone or with family and friends, this is a great guide with estimated costs. Although I wonder if this book will hold value over time as prices will change, but at least for now, it’s a great guide!

I truly enjoyed reading this book even though I am already married! If it had been around when I planned my wedding, I know I would have been convinced to elope in the amazing way that Sherry presented. I loved the message to dream big but adopt the budget of choice. The practical steps were all there to help make the couple’s dreams a reality. The photos throughout the book really said it all. I love the idea of making one of the biggest commitments of life in an extraordinary and memorable place.

I loved this book! It’s a comprehensive elopement guide for free-spirited, unconventional, and adventurous couples who want to combine their love of travel and adventure on their wedding day. This book is full of ideas, advice, and tips to help you plan your dream wedding. It includes timelines, logistical travel information, packing lists, budget considerations, family and pet considerations, and other unique ideas. I love how the author included the profiles of 12 flight attendants who eloped, along with their wedding pictures at their destination, their thought processes, and advice. This book is informative, well-researched, and has beautiful vivid photos. I enjoyed reading it. I’m already married but looking at destinations for a 20-year vowel renewal ceremony, and this book provides much inspiration for travel ideas and practical advice I will consider while I plan. I recommend it.

Not every bride can afford an expensive wedding and this book has a variety of different ideas for non-traditional weddings, along with great ideas on destination weddings & amazing photo ideas for every bride.

I’ve been married for over twenty years, but this book was perfect for a romance writer like me to use as research and ideas. The settings are described in great detail, and the profiles of the flight attendants gave me great ideas for characters. Plus, I like my plots to be believable, so it was helpful to understand the logistics of elopement in exotic locations.
